The balanced leader

How easy is it to go ‘all in’ when starting a new role?

If you’re like me, you get an adrenalin kick that could keep you (happily) working until the early hours.

Nothing is too much effort; in fact, it feels good to be giving it everything you’ve got.

Then it’s 3 months down the line and suddenly you realise you’re prioritising work over everything else that matters in your life.

❌ Exhausted
❌ Overcommitted
❌ Overwhelmed

…..sound familiar?

Don’t be fooled into thinking that just because you’re now a senior leader this must be at the expense of a balanced and happy you.

When I coach clients we don’t just look at the ‘work stuff’ we look at the whole of your life and think about how to keep each area existing in harmony so that you feel:

- In control of your life
- Fulfilled both in and outside of work
- Energised and motivated

Happy healthy leaders = happy healthy organisations.

How do you find the right balance?
